No Photo Necessary

Emergency preparedness is underway at the Lillypad. Well actually our car. We've heard from several friends here that we need to have certain safety equipment in our car for the winter, especially with me commuting so far for school at night. So, I am compiling a plastic bin that will be stored in the Jeep with the following: first aid kit, flash light, flares, hat, gloves, bottled water, beef jerky (food snack that will not expire) and a sleeping bag. While I have no intentions of spending the night on Highway 62, it is exactly for that reason -- the unplanned emergency. Could be another accident that causes me to be sidelined for 3-5 hours. All I know is that these nice folks who have lived here for 20+ years tell me I need to do this. It's life in the mountains, and it's still oh, so good.

It is in this context that various manufacturers replica watches started exploring how to achieve watches that could resist such fields. IWC was the first to release a widely available rolex replica sale watch resistant to magnetic fields with its aptly named Ingénieur model. Not to be outdone, in that same time-frame, Rolex also released its own magnetic-resistant watch: the Rolex Milgauss (from the French "mille" and Gauss, thus resistant to 1000 Gauss). James Stacey swiss replica watches recently covered a set of newly announced Ingénieur pieces by IWC, to be released in 2013: the year of the Ingénieur for IWC. The basic innovation in both the Rolex Milgauss and the IWC Ingénieur and other such watches is the use of a Faraday replica watches uk cage that encloses the movement. Similar to how being inside an airplane protects you from the effects of replica watches lightning, a Faraday cage (ferromagnetic enclosure) around the movement will divert a current or magnetic field and shield and protect the entire movement, including the balance wheel and rolex replica sale its hairspring.
